The hotel was in a handy location right by the Hawksburn railway station, Chapel Street and cafes, shops and train station. The morning breakfast was relatively cheap with yoghurt and bacon, for example.

it was a historic building, the room was extremely pleasant and generous sized with a balcony or terrace available.

The location is great for the price - close to South Yarra and within walking distance to Toorak Village, which has shops. It's also conveniently located near the Prahran Market, cafes, restaurants, and a pub. Very close to public transport.

Great value for money. Location was great being minutes and accessable to the city. Breakfast was basic being cereal, juice, toast and a cuppa, and good value for money. Breakfast room was pleasant and pretty, a lovely start to the morning. Room was decorated appropriately and included all needed for a short time. Room was clean and comfortable. Receptionist was informative, polite and efficient. Toorak Manor was in short stroll to the local shopping area, McDonalds and a great pub for a drink and beautiful dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed our time

Character and style of the rooms, cleanliness and closeness to the train station

The room had everything we needed and was a good deal. 🌟 The location was super convenient, just a nice 10-15 minute walk from Victoria Gardens.

No lifts as such have to carry luggages up the stairs.

Very clean room in an excellent location - surprisingly quiet given it's proximity to the train lines.Rather run down area off Chappel St-adequate facilities,good bathroom,comfortable bed and very close to all transport,shopping and numerous restaurants. Good value for money for the purpose of a short self catering stay.

Convenient location in South Yarra's cool neighborhood! There are two shopping spots and plenty of restaurants nearby - one to the east and the other to the west. Plus, you've got Hawksburn railway station within walking distance. 🚉

I had a really really nice experience here, everything was good, the location was amazing near to nearby shops and restaurants and a train line and Chapel Street, Toorak Village and Malvern Road. The beds were good and the suite itself was beautifully maintained and airy...

I really enjoyed this beautiful old and quirky hotel. There was a wide array of food for breakfast, including toast, cereals, and fruit. The room was well maintained by housekeeping. All of the staff members were efficient and outstandingly accommodating. It was in a very central location, close to stations or tram lines on Commercial or Toorak Road.

The staff were friendly and attentive. I arrived really late and they made it easy for me to get access and left message.

The shower facilities were disappointing as lukewarm water and poor water pressure

A nice size and well-equipped rooms were facing garden. The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of Como House and Gardens.
